Student pub on the Aston Uni campus in the city centre, the Pot was a great meeting space for all the indie kids in the mid 80’s and held a load of gigs there (I remember seeing Frank Sidebottom a couple of times).
We are trying to compile a list of gigs at the venue, please help us by adding yours!

I used to drink in this pub 1977 to 1980. I was a student from September 77 and celebrated my 18th birthday in there on the 15th December – last day of the first term. Bar Manager was a bit confused about that since I’d been necking the pints all term.
I used to drink at this pub 1969 to 1972 whilst a Combined Honours student at Aston. Pleasant place, nice atmosphere, I remember hearing Maggie May for the first time no their juke box in 1971. Does it still exist? If so I’d love to go back for a couple of pints.
