The Snapper Club
If Hipnosiz were the fore runners of the House club scene, then The Snapper Club took it to another level. It started in the small room of the Hummingbird but quickly moved into the main room which held 3000. This was in 1989 and can be credited with the start of the ‘super club’ and large scale raves.

One of the original House nights, based in the small room at the Hummingbird in Dale End, Hipnosiz is widely regarded as the initial club night for House in the city and led the explosion on clubs, nights, promoters and DJ’s that came with it.
It really was legendary.
