I used to play guitar for ‘Pat Wayne and The Beachcombers every wednesday
night at the Crown pub. Also sometimes Fridays during the early ’60s. It was
always a great gig and many other Birmingham bands used to play there including
Johnny Neil, the Vikings etc. Great days.
